Posting to the SubCommittee static modellers BB is a very good idea. If you post to this list, I'll also try to answer any questions I can (I have the proverbial 6 foot shelf of references) concerning submarines. If I can answer a question, I know who to turn to in the SubCommittee. I wonder how Conway managed to miss out on this one? Would've thought it was right up their alley. I suppose I can wait until July for the Fuso (it's not as if I didn't have any other projects to work on). Actually, I'm just happy to see that the "Anatomy of the Ship" series hasn't withered upon the vine. The last new one was the Takao and that was at least two years ago (there may have been sailing ship subjects in the interim, but I'd never notice). If anyone is interested in tackling the Fuso in a larger scale, Fleetscale, in the U.K. has produced a hull for it in 1:128. My catalog is an older one and there are no fittings listed for it, but they usually have sets of fittings produced for their hulls. For you Iowa-Class fans, this is what a proper battleship looks like. :-) (Have to go -- looking for cover.)
