Although my only interest - so far - in this group is anything on the Big E, I must admit that I do enjoy reading the WHOLE newsletter when it comes up on screen. I'm primarily an aircraft modeller, but also dabble in figures and armour, but this doesn't stop me from learning from what others have to say. So, stuff the critics! Maybe we could line up the whole Iowa class and give 'em a broadside! (I watched "Under Seige" the other night - WHAT a ship!!!!) Keep on with the good work! Merry Christmas and Happy Modelling for 1998! Speaking of Under Siege and the Mo, The word around PSNS at the moment is she will eventually be made a floating "Japanese" restaurant at Pearl Harbour - anybody else hear that ? Anyone have any comments, tips, suggestions, warnings, etc...... Some good, some useless. And btw, if any of you have seen a good website with photos, let us know please. Enjoy, "If you're not making any mistakes, you're probably not building anything." There's all sorts of talk about a 1/10 Yamato here - Love to see that one! I found brushpainting with Acrylic was not really something that came naturally to me. I found a lot of streaks and un-evenness in the finish.
