 In regards to the inquiry about matchstick models a few volumes ago, "Ships In Scale" for September/October 2000 had an article about a matchstick model of the 1905 armored cruiser USS Pennsylvania. Also, the February/March 1989 and April/May 1989 issues of "Scale Ship Modeler" had a two part article on a matchstick model of the USS Brooklyn. Both models were built by the same person, Bill Emerson. The articles were very informative, and both models were very well done.

 I got my 1/400 model of the Heller Hood about a month ago form WEM. I would say e-mail them to check on stock. If you want to buy it in the North America area I was told by Squadon that they beleave it should be in to them by November 30th.

 the Heller 1/400th scale Hood was just reissued ... you can find it in most Hobby Shops ... goes for about $50.00 US

 I've seen most of the Heller ships there and the HOOD is a recent re-release. Give them a call.
