 Imai went bankrupt and Aoshima bought the molds. Hobby Link Japan has the Aoshima produced version of the kit listed for about $90.00 plus shipping. As for the quality of the kit, I have not seen it.

 IMAI went out of business last year, but Aoshima bought their assets and has re-issued the kit. It is available from Hobby-Link Japan:

 Hi

 Can any one tell me the phone number for the History Channel for ordering videos.

 In late  August/early Sept I ordered the tape Fire Boats of 9/11. Haven't received it yet and when I called 2 days after it played the operator told me they were sold out and have to reorder. I just want to ask if and when I'm going to get this tape or can have it cancelled on my credit card. Any one know.

 Well, the color of the ship would depend on the configuration of the ship model! You wouldn't want to paint the ship model a color that matches the ship in 1945 when the configuration is for the ship in 1943, would you? Or conversely, if you want to paint the ship in the 1945 colors, you should ideally modify the configuration to that of 1945....

 Hello listmates,

 I have been reading the first hand account of the British battlecruisers' encounter with the German ships at Dogger Bank entitled With the Battlecruisers, by Filson Young. There is an introduction and extensive notes by a man named James Goldrick. Can anyone tell me about Mr. Goldrick's credentials? He is quite critical of Mr. Young in a number of places. I suspect that Goldrick is writing with the benefit of many years of hindsight. I would like to be able to decide if he is criticizing Mr. Young fairly, or unfairly.

 I'm sorry, I can't tell about accuracy of "Le Napoleon". But I believe the kit is still available.

 Sadly, Imai stopped their business last year. But tools of sailing ships were transferred to Aoshima, and Napoleon kit was re-released from Aoshima in January of this year.

 Try Hobby Link Japan, and you can find the kit.
