Regards to all, Harold Lincoln ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From Richa5011@aol.com Subject Western Ship Model Conf. & Expo Gary asked about who might be attending this event. I will be there Saturday and Sunday, manning the IPMS/Orange County information and demo table. I'd like to meet any of the other SMMLies who are there... A number of our members will be there each day, some very skilled ship modelers and some other members who have recently taken up the building of model ships. We also have a significant contingent modelers who build in paper...both Jason Sutton and David Okamura will be there from time to time as well has having their projects available for display. Nat Richards ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) From "Allan and Crystal Plumb" Subject Trumpeter Nimitz - only version? So, the Trumpeter Nimitz (1/350) is supposed to be a 1975 version, with F4J etc. 1) Is there any plan for a current version? Not to have one seems odd, but I haven't seen any list of more than one. But then, there were their multiple Essexii. 2) If not, what are the differences between 1975 and now, other than of course the A/C fit (they already list future F-14D and Super Hornet…) Allan "it's not a battleship, but it is rather large" Plumb ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- TRADERS, ANNOUNCEMENTS & NOTICEBOARD ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) From John Snyder Subject Market Query With our first little publication on the IJN Greys out and selling, it struck me that some might be interested in having a full set of the USN's WW2 camouflage instructions, the well-known Ships-2. We can do that, comb-bound, if the interest is there. Reply here or direct to me off-list.
