You present a good TV appearance, knowledgeable, and watchable. Good show. Nice to see someone in living color, and I did watch the entire show. The WW1 in color show kept me glued to the set Sunday night. Even with it's seagoing errors and incorrect voiceovers. But, many of the History Channel's (not your) voiceovers didn't match the film being showed. Maybe picky, but when they are talking about B-17s, they showed B-24s (at least once); talking about the Douglas DB-7, they showed Martin B-10s/12s; talking about another aircraft, they cut to a Martin Marauder assembly line; and several other editing mistakes. There were even some conflicting discrepancies between numbers (quantities, losses, etc.) given in diff segments of the shows. Am I wrong in assuming they don't have really professional editors or at least editors who know the diff in WW2 aircraft or WW1 warships? Or doesn't anyone knowledgeable coordinate the film with the voice script? As a tech writer and editor, as well as an engineer, I notice these things. Anal? Who me?? Well done Ned.! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From "Lou Meszaros" Subject Re 144 scale 20 mm Oerlikon, Single AA gun John, I model in 1/144th and this is the site for you http//www.hrprod.com/144.html What ship are you building? Regards, Lou ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) From WRPRESSINC@aol.com Subject Re type 251 A small single horizontal dipole carried on a small frame. Usually (but not always) fitted at around the foremast starfish area. Difficult to see,. first fitted mid war. Carried on almost every large warship and on many fleet destroyers. See labelled drawing of aerial in back of Ensign One KGV Class Battleships. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) From "keith bender" Subject USS Michigan colors Hi SMMLies, I'm building USS Michigan BB 27 as 1918, which gray should be used for this time frame? I never made any ships of this period. Thanks, Keith ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) From John Snyder Subject Re San Giorgio and Hangzhou Hi Lars, The Chinese Navy color is very close to RAN Storm Grey, which we have available in Colourcoats.
