The only other option is the old Revell box scale FS (~ 1/310). It is OOP but often turns up on eBay. Best regards, Joel Labow (former crewmember, USS Mullinnix (DD-944)) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From "roger pearson" Subject 1/72 Crew figures Hello all, Do any of you know of the existance of 172nd scale Naval Crew figures sets? I am a 20,000 Leagues fan and it looks like the Alligator could have been an idea model for Verne's fictional Nautilus, at least as portrayed in the engravings of the day, and the timing would be about right too-- Verne published 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1873. He would have heard of or known about the Alligator in researching his book. << More than that!! Alligator was designed by Brutus de Villeroi, who, before he came to America, was a teacher in France. His early submarine experiments were witnessed by one of his students, Jules Verne !! Cheers, Bob Santos ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8) From "Rod Dauteuil" Subject Re Kits for sale >> Otaki 1/144 CVN-65 Enterprise Carrier << Are you sure 1/144 scale? Rod ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9) From Lone Gunman Subject Westland Wasp Conversion I am going to try and convert the old Airfix Westland Scout into a Wasp. Can any body tell me what this colour is " Bright ( admiral's barge ) green " on Westland Wasp HAS.1 XS539/Z NAS, HMS Bulwark 1968-70. Either a Humbrol equivalent or a F.S number would be handy.
