A check on the Guiness Bokk of Records of that era should provide confirmation. << There were at least four Universe Ireland and Universe Japan (each 331,825 DWT), Universe Kuwait, and Universe Portugal (332,092 DWT). All were Gulf Oil vessels, and I believe all operated out of (into?) Bantry Bay, Ireland. Cap'n Randy ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From "The code" Subject IPMS rules hello list, My friend Chuck Smith who has a gallery here recieved a 2nd place medal at a recent model show here in Michigan.. Very nice build up of the 1/72 scale u-boat at dock loading torpedos. Dorama catagory ( I will have to get a picture for his gallery ) His question is can he show this same model at a show next month? Both shows are under IPMS rules as far as we know. Also anybody know where I can find info on HMS Victorys stern as it looked after the 1803 rebuild?? The stern of the Heller kit is as it looks today.. Iv tried the Victory web site without getting a reply.. regards Bill in muddy Michigan ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the SMML site for the List Rules, Reviews, Articles, Backissues, Member's models & Reference Pictures at http//smmlonline.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- End of Volume
