It would make a nice display with the QM2. Thanks Hub ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) From "ROBIN JENKINS" Subject John Piper 1/96 Flower Class Corvette Can anyone out there help me, please? I have recently had come into my ownership a boxed, complete, unmade 1/96 Piper kit from the late 1970s. It is a truly remarkable offering for its time, with literally hundreds of metal fittings and beautiful brass etchings, plus a wonderful resin hull. As I say, it is complete. A trawl of the internet has revealed nothing about the kit, apart from a 3 part review of the kit in the UK magazine Scale Models in 1978, which I have obtained. I am unsure whether I shall keep it as is, build it or even sell it on. However, since I was burgled 3 years ago, I do, under the terms of my insurance policy, need to put a current value on it. My question to the community out there is does anyone out there have any idea what I should insure this kit for? Many thanks for any help you can give. Cheers from the UK, Robin Jenkins ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) From "Nuno Rubim" Subject Re German Navy Aircraft Markings Thanks for the replies about this question, from Ulrich Rudofsky and Roland Mar. Indeed I was looking for the markings on Shipboard Reconnaissance Aircraft , like the Arado 196, Arado 231, Heinkel 114, etc...embarked on Battleships, Cruisers and Auxiliary Cruisers ( Hilfskreuzers).
