I have a Seafire to build and nte a three tone deck (she'll be sitting on a bit of deck) in photos. Looking at the various notes on RN Carriers, I see that others at this time had "Dark Green" "Light Grey" and "Dark Grey" patterns, which fits th tone sin B&W photos, but... I'll only be modelling a 100mm square of deck! The CAG organisation continued into the post war period, being reorganised in September 1946 so that each Air Group had one Firefly squadron and one of Seafires. The CAG system ended in the Royal Navy in 1952, and in Australian and Canada in 1954." The individual CAGs can be viewed at http//orbat.com/site/history/historical/uk/cag44-45.html . A more detailed index of these CAGs and their squadrons can be found at http//www.fleetairarmarchive.net/Squadrons/CAG.html The importance of all of this information is the fact that you can now have a proper air group on your specific late and post-war Brit carrier, including those in the Korean actions.
