If you have no luck with their recommended sources there are a couple of others National Archives- they hold plans for decommissioned cutters and craft. The archives will only respond to inquiries for particular vessels; they will not make a class-wide association or search. Write to Cartographic Branch National Archives and Records Administration Washington, D.C. 20408 Hagley Museum- This museum holds many Coast Guard ships including cutters, lightships, and buoy tenders. Make inquires to Hagley Museum Box 3630 Greenville Wilmington, DE. 19807 Of course there is the Smithsonian Institution but most of their material is all the plans for the early 19th century cutters. I have a drawing of an outboard profile of a secretary cutter as built. In the bottom right hand corner has the notation; ”C.G. 6571-0101-20 Sheet 2 0f 9” I haven’t had a chance to examine my 1968 drawings of a 327 class cutter against the profile to check if the drawing numbers are similar. You should have little trouble obtaining the more contemporary drawings and specs but the originals might take a little longer to locate. Hope this helps. If you have any questions regarding this class of ship email me I’ll try to provide some answers. I served on 3 ships of this class including the CAMPBELL, they were great ships.
