HMS Buttercup - White Ensign Models 1/700
1/700 WEM HMS Buttercup is built OOB with the addition of Tom's Modelworks PE crewmen. The base is my first attempt at a 3D seascape. This was done using acrylic gel medium on a wooden base (lightswitch plate), painted with Ceramcoat colours and given a coat of Future to impart gloss to the water.

HMS Argonaut - White Ensign Models 1/700
The WEM 1/700 Dido Class cruiser was done OOB as HMS Argonaut. The only addition was PE crewmen from Tom's Modelworks.

Freccia - Waveline 1/700
The Waveline 1/700 Italian destroyer Freccia was my first resin ship model. She has Eduard PE rails and the TM figures. This was also my first attempt at an 'at sea' display. I just painted a seascape on a piece of cardboard and added sides.

ORP Jastrzab - Blue Water Navy 1/350
1/350 Blue Water Navy S-Class submarine done up as the ORP Jastrzab. This was built OOB for a friend whose father served on Polish submaries in WWII. He was aboard the Jastrzab (Falcon) when she was accidentally sunk by a Norwegian destroyer and a British trawler. Fortunately he survived and went on to other submarines.

HMCS Snowberry - L'Arsenal 1/400
The 1/400 L'Arsenal late Flower Class Corvette is done up OOB as HMCS Snowberry because I liked the name. Eventually I will redo the rails with the correct two-bar pattern as well as add the gunshield artwork to the nameplate. Also included is a shot of another L'Arsenal Flower modified to an as yet undetermined early short focsle RCN corvette. Eventually both will be placed at sea with Tom's Modelworks figures.
