I modeled Hornet as she would have appeared in June 1944. She is wearing measure 33/3a. Here's hopingthat when the new Trumpeter 1/350 Essex which was mastered from this kit is just as good

This photo is of the Tamiya 1/350 Fletcher class DD using Toms Modelworks Square bridge conversion. I built it as the USS Ross for my wife's uncle who crewed her 3/45 - 6/46

Here is a photo of my completed 1/350 Toms Model Works Arizona. It was kit no# 56 of 500 in his initial offering of a collectors edition.

The build took over 2 years. I was given this kit to build for an associate. It was my first effort at a resin kit. VERY steep learning curve. It was almost as though Murphy was exercising his laws at each step of the way (I even had a goose neck lamp fall on it)
