U.K. IPMS NATIONALS 1999

On the 24th and 25th October 1999, the U.K. IPMS Championships were held at the International Convention Centre at Telford, Shropshire. As many of you know, we host the largest IPMS event in the world. Knowing that a bunch of list-members were going to be in attendance over the 2 days, I announced on SMML that anyone visiting the WEM stand would have their photo taken for the SMML list. Obviously, the new website seemed like the ideal host! Some subscribers (SMMLlies) came willingly, others tried to hide.. many were ruthlessly seized and forcibly photographed. A few got away to live another day in anonymity... yes, guys, you know who you are.. I'll get you NEXT time! Without further ado, the victims' names are listed with their SURNAMES, first, and their FIRST NAMES last, in alphabetical order. The (perfectly horrid!!) photo taken of myself, I hasten to add, was snapped by Jens Brandal, without my knowledge.. thought I'd got away with that one! In discussion with Shane and Mike, and after receiving a number of requests, AND after a couple of threads on SMML about cats and modelling, we decided to add photos of people's cats (apologies to cat-phobics). Again, these are down as text links, so just click on the link if interested in the i.d's. If anyone wants to send photos of their cats, please E-Mail them to me or Lorna. I also took the liberty of adding photos of other SMML contributors who attended the Santa Clara Nationals in 1998.
