USS Cole Recovery

The act of terrrorism performed on the USS Cole shocked a lot of people - the families & friends of those serving on the USS Cole; the US Navy, and those of her allies; the US Government; and the citizens of the United States.

It must be admitted that the scale of the attack isn't brought fully home until you see these images. Actually seeing the Cole out of the water, and people standing beside the hole really brings home how extremely lucky the survivors are, in not only surviving the blast, but also in rescuing the ship from sinking.

Just look at this imagery - it expresses more than words can.
